The Blizzard 1200/1220 Accelerator board PCMCIA not working with ADD4M Type of Failure: After installing the ADD4M a PCMCIA expansion refuses to work. Cause: With PCMCIA expansions you are unfortunatly not able to expand the memory of your 1220/4 from 4mb to 8mb since the ADD4M and the PCMCIA use the same memoryaddress. Solution: Since the Blizzard 1220/4 has only 24 adress lines available, it can only adress 16MB4 of RAM, therefore the expanded memory has to be inside the Zorro-II Autoconfig range. Unfortunatly this can not be solved. Expanding the memory with more than 4MB while keeping the PCMCIA port availavle is only possible by using an accellerator board with a real 32Bit processor such as the Blizzard 1230.
