Blizzard Turbo Boards Memory is only recognized with half size Type of Failure: A SIMM inserted into the board is only recognized with half of the capacity specified. Cause: The SIMM used does not match the standard PS/2 specification. The SIMM you are using is a HyperPage Mode type. Since this does not matter in most cases for PCs, these SIMMs are often sold as standard PS/2 SIMMs. The RAM design of the accelerator board is not layed out to work with such non standard SIMMs. Solution: Return the SIMM to your dealer and ask him for a replacement, that meets the PS/2 specification.
