Blizzard Turbo Boards Internal harddisk is not recognized Type of Failure: The internal harddisk of the A1200 is not correctly recognized with installed Blizzard Turbo Board. Cause: The data transfer for the internal harddisk is not reliable. This may result from using a 3.5" harddisk. Such harddisks are NOT suitable for the A1200. The IDE port of the A1200 is designed to work with 2.5" harddisks. 3.5" harddisks differ in timing of the interface. If the problem occurs with a 2.5" type, the reason may be a long cable like the ones often used in tower conversions. Signal stability and quality is only guaranteed with the original length cable provided with the A1200. Solution: Change your internal harddisk to a 3.5" type. Some 3.5" harddisks may work, but that are exceptions. Use the original cable provided with the A1200 instead the long cable.
